Yummylicious Cupcakes was born through Andrea's love of all things sweet,pretty and indulgent. She worked for many years within an administration setting for both the NHS and the University of Sheffield baking for her friends and family in her spare time. She went on maternity leave in 2008 to have her little girl Jessica and after a lot of thought she decided to take the leap into doing something she has always loved.. baking fantastic cakes and cupcakes as a business and having the opportunity to spend more time at home with her beautiful baby in the process. The name yummylicious came to be after Jessica said "yummy yummy" every time she saw one of her mummy's creations which seemed to be appropriate and stuck, so 'yummylicious cupcakes' was born. Andrea prides herself on the "American" style of cupcakes which are larger than the traditional UK fairy cakes with lots more frosting and sprinkles for you to enjoy.

Since then she has gone from strength to strength practicing new techniques and building up a keen following for her fabulous cupcakes. She quickly outgrew her home kitchen so moved production to her first retail shop "Yummylicious" in 2010 and also now employs a small friendly team to help out with all the baking!!
